11/11/2010

Kevin,
 I don't know if you remember, but I talked to you a couple of times when I ordered my heads from you and you were always very helpful, thank you! Here is the info about my car;

1973 Plymouth Duster
440 engine .030 over TRW pistons with 11.65 to 1 compression with 75cc head, stock six pak rods w/ARP bolts
Hughes stage 3 ported Edelbrock Victor heads with Hughes 1.6 rockers
Comp cam with .630"/.650" lift, 276/282 @0.050 duration flat tappet solid with the 1.6 rockers
Victor 440 intake with a 750 Holley alcohol carb

727 torqueflite tranny w/brake and 4600 rpm Turbo Action 9" converter

9" rear w/spool and 35 spline axles and 4.86 gears, ladder bars, 14x32 Firestone
My previous best with box stock Edelbrock RPM heads was 11.17@119 mph
My new best ET is 10.56@127 mph in Las Vegas

The heads were a bit of a challange for me being my first set of true race heads but you guys were very helpful, and I love the way they made my old school 440 want to rpm and mph even with a very heavy bobweight to the motor. I am glad I ordered my heads from you when I did since they seem hard to get right now. Thanks for everything,
  Dave Howley.
